No quarter asked or given from both teams. The appalling weather meant any decent football was difficult to produce, with the more skilful players struggling to make any impact. Both goalkeepers and defences were under the cosh because of the wind and stood up to it well. Our young side has proved time and time again that they can produce free flowing, attacking football, scoring plenty of goals, whilst at the same time having an outstanding defensive unit. Last night they also showed they can roll their sleeves up and get stuck in with the best of them. For me, Liam Lindsay was superb, well worthy for his MOTM award.
    The atmosphere was excellent, too.
A good point and now onto Doncaster.

I thought the quality of football was excellent from both teams..... especially considering the weather conditions. Hopefully we can get something at Donny and then we get the suspended guys back.

One or two of our players struggled in the conditions. But, in my opinion, the team as a unit did very well.
