I have always loved Sufjan Stevens, though I haven't done a deep-dive into his work, so was *delighted* to recently discover this modern masterpiece, from an EP from 2010 called All Delighted People. Some things pass you by and you discover them later, a welcome retrospective. I would argue it's my generation's A Day in the Life, it's that good. I accept music is wholly subjective, but I would challenge anyone not to be moved by this. It is almost 12 minutes long; it meanders and mutates, it is a joy; it is worth the investment imo. A very talented artist. It also borrows from The Sound of Silence (permitted by Paul Simon). It's an example of beauty in these days of hate and division.
