Can see why the ref sent him off but it was really dreadful luck

So they get a poxy goal against the run of play when the ball drops for them about 3 times in a row in our area and now we are down to 9 men and also without half a defence next game - we really are not getting any luck at all this game

Halme is going to get his chance at centre half.

Maybe - but I would hope we appeal the first sending off and it gets overturned - total travesty if it isnt - may just go back to Williams as the 3rd CB

Yeah we will - but we’re going to have two suspended not one. It’ll have to be Sollbauer, Halme and Williams. They probably won’t even appeal Helik’s, and even if they do they’ll just protect the ref.

Do the suspensions get spent in the cup rather than the league game? I’ve read the fa rules and it appears they will, just mentions first team competitive games; though I did think they’d changed it so they were competition specific?

Im not quite sure - I think red cards do apply next game but yellow cards dont - so 5 yellows doesnt get you missing a cup game but a red does

I currently think both Anderson and Helick will miss the Chelsea game. and if I am right we would be mad to appeal it as that would make him availlable for Chelsea but then risk missing the game against Coventry if the appeal is rejected
