7 minutes to lay seige on the opposition goal, to throw caution to the wind, to chuck a centre half or two up front, to launch the ball into their penalty box, to see the manager snarling from the touchline urging his side forward.

Nothing. Nothing at all. No desire to win from a single player or any of the coaching staff. Poya did his usual impression of a man whose family have been kidnapped, looking terrified to the point of being unable to speak, while the players let the clock run down like it just didn't matter.

We're crap, we've signed a squad full of players for whom this division is beyond their skill set, but nobody cares either. There's no desire, no passion, no will to win. They turn up and play football because that's what they're paid to do without a single care about the result.

The owners are absent, the manager is fathoms out of his depth and the players turn up, get paid and go home. If you're losing interest it's hardly surprising. There's nothing to hang your passion on. It's like supporting a featureless grey blob and watching it do nothing.

This sums it up, where is the desire? We all expect to lose now and that is it.

    Exactly this .
We know the owners have feked up and been either incompetent , arrogant or benefit of doubt naive but to excuse professional well paid players most of whom we know can do much much more is inexcusable imo .

Yeah, I sadly agree with much of this.

I don't like saying the players don't care because I suspect they do and their body language can be misleading. They could have been told to stay back, they could be blowing out of their rumps or carrying injuries but not wanting to visibly show that weakness, they could just have that demeanor and posture.

But that coach not prowling up and down bellowing encouragement is inexcusable. Even if it just shows the players that you are behind them, do it. Let them know if they aren't executing the plan. Let them know if they are and encourage them to continue. Do something. It will endear you to the fans for one thing.

Is it any surprise that they’re demotivated when the club treat them purely as commodities? I bet most of them can’t wait to get away from this toxic club.

Lack of application has been apparent from the get go personified by one player (although applies to every one with very few exceptions). Palmer... he looks uninterested and lazy ...hes slow on to the ball and slow in both thought and movement....when he does have the ball his passes are lobs and or dont have the correct weight on them. He so angers me because i know he is capable. Another point.....
Statistically the best tackler last season was styles who showed me everything i needed to see about us. I think it was second half .....ball in their box....us on the attack. The bury bagio goes in for a challange with their cf, i was always told to go full in or try to nick it...he did neither .....then the ball broke and their guy used his experience to buy a free kick....i was absolutely incensed ...no back up no nothing ....just another example of how poor we are this season.

Yep.. Apart from Archy who still thinks we're going to win every week...inexplicably.
I think it's called.. trying to be positive , but just comes a cross as blind stupidity to me.
Sorry Arch, keep filling yer boots.

I much preferred the squad that went down under Morais. Hammil, Thiam, McBurnie all has potential to get me off my seat.
The team that went down under Wilson was very poor but it has some fighters in the squad in Bobby, Ramage, O’Brien, Dawson, O’Grady.
This lot I can’t be bothered with at all.

Did you not see Birmingham's protests yesterday... I,d say we're still at negative right now.. it will have to ramp up a few notches here yet before it's turns toxic.
I'm expecting it tho.. before EoS

And in contrast Birmingham...a poor side but their work ethic and passion to get to the ball first showed when Gardner smashes into our lad in the 95th minute in the centre of the pitch.
If only we had half the commitment.

Twisting a thread to have a personal dig at someone is really poor.
