We cannot afford another relegation, rebuild, retread. 6 million quid is too much to gamble against losing. There's experienced coaches out there who are out of work. Some would love to coach these young lads. Personally and I know I'll get hammered for it, but I'd love to see Roy Keane given a go. Guy talks a lot of sense and seems to have mellowed and understands his previous failings at Ipswich. Mind you if we hold out a few more weeks Sir Mick might be available.
Doubt he'd come, he'll be waiting for a crack at a team in Premier League or team with parachute payments. I don't think Keane is a bully, he's driven but he's misrepresented by certain parts of the media.
I'd have him on a temporary basis to buy us time to find a new manager. He'll be getting under his missus feet by now surely!?
