Don't recall the name, but it was of a bloke who after his rookie season decided he didn't want to appear on cards any more so they stopped making them.
Modern coins off Westminster Collection or Pobjoy websites. Wish I had a Kew Gardens 2009 50p but the most profitable I have are probably Northern Ireland Commonwealth Games 2002 £2 and the uncirculated Jersey Zoo carded £2 that with P&P cost 14 quid but is currently going for over hundred quid on Ebay. Coins never go down in value so it's a far better investment than keeping it in a bank with a low interest rate.
Step 1 Be a rookie on a baseball card Step 2 Buy them all yourself Step 3 Have a decent career Step 4 Sell one of the cards for crazy money Nice pension plan. Where's my time machine? Now if only I was any good at sport!!
I think it was a Mike Trout card. One of the top players and still currently playing. The card was also signed. https://nationalpost.com/pmn/sports...e-of-a-kind, marked “1/1” and signed by Trout.
