According to WalesOnline FB their 3000 tickets are free. We must keep all the revenue from our home leg, like the league gates. Edit: This is not a moan or criticising BFC
A few clubs have offered free tickets for play off games but then I’m not sure what sort of package they have offered for fans throughout the season so perhaps they got offered less and that’s why they have offered this.
What if the Swansea fans already have 2 legs, what happens then? Also, how many fans have they got with only one leg?
It does throw up all sorts of conundrums though, have they got an equal amount of left legs to right legs? These are the sort of things that need to be considered. There could be some Swansea fans walking round in circles if they have 2 left or right legs.
I mean, good for them. But they got £25 million before a ball was kicked this season in failure money. I mean parachute payments. After getting £80million of it over the previous two years. I’d also be amazed if season tickets for next season are anything like as cheap at Swansea as they are here. Not really a fair comparison. Also consider how much it will cost the club to host fans, setting up one way systems, marking out seats, enough staff in place, hand sanitiser stations etc etc. We’ve sold 4500 tickets at prices ranging from £5 to £25 - given the number of concessions we sell every year I’d imagine they’ll have done well to clear £60k to £70k. I’d be surprised if they still don’t make a loss on the game given there’s no concessions open and all the organisation that has been required. I couldn’t enter the ballot due to work commitments but had I been able to and was successful, I would have been only too happy to pay the money.
Well I think Long John Silver would’ve been a fan of one of the Bristol clubs, so we can count him out
I think our season ticket prices for next year are superb considering they could be for the top flight, if the club had not charged for the play off tickets then the unlucky ones who missed out would have felt even harder done by than they already do, at least this way no one is getting something for nothing at someone else 's expense
Think the club have treated us very well over the last 14 months. I've no issue paying the £25 to go and support the team after the results they have produced this season.
