Followed by Reading away then Coventry at home. Good opening sequence of matches IMHO. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/teams/barnsley/scores-fixtures/2020-09
Home to Huddersfield on boxing day is going to make my Christmas day family gathering fun. Our 3 Yorkshire rivals fixtures are quite late on which I hope was a common sense decision and not just a coincidence in the hope that by that time we can be hopefully back to normal including away fans.
Luton at home sent a shiver down my spine after last year - one of the worst! Hopefully a decent start for us this year
Could well be a draw as they too will be seeing it as an easy start. We didnt beat them last year after all.
I know we're not the best side in the division but that fixture list doesn't look particularly intimidating. Halloween to Xmas Eve is a pretty tough stretch though - would like some points on the board early.
Norwich at home last match. Omens aren't good. I'm sure Norwich at Oakwell was our last game of the 01/02 season- we lost and went down
Ordered em or actually got them Helen. ? Think it may be a while b4 we can use em. Seeing it appears at the mo we have more season ticket holders than ( if based at 30% capacity) seats available. ?
Haha thanks Helen but I was actually just being a bit flippant here seeing that we are all just watching football from the sofa these days.
Sickening watching the north stand full of green and yellow singing “you’re going down” and that little rat Craig Bellamy running the show.
Seems all the games that usually attract a large home crowd are Christmas times and beyond do hopefully sorted out for spectators by then .
If we have 0 points by the end of September we should already know what type of season we’re going to have. The fixtures seem much less intimidating this year so hopefully we can get some decent points on the board quite early on. I was hoping we’d get Sheff Wed away earlier to see whether we’d play better at Hillsborough without a crowd.
