Love him, hate him, find him eccentric or whatever, I'm glad he's realised that previous cuts have been damaging caused by Mayem.listening to the news this morning the biggest issue appears to be infrastructure, I.e the closing of police stations in the past.

He hasn’t done it yet !
There’s a general election looming non of these promises will be implemented before it takes place and after??
The police themselves are questioning whether it is feasible or not and casting great doubts .
Sounds good but very very questionable .

There’s some easily pleased people about, Johnson as part of a conservative government votes to close police stations and run down officer numbers by over 20,000.... Tory voters turn a blind eye. He then becomes pm and promises to reinstate them and he’s lorded as a saint whilst blaming his predecessor. couldn’t make it up.

Have to laugh at this - remind me again who started the program to close police stations in London. Clue - initials are B J

That you are hailing the man who closed the police stations in the first place while blaming May for his policy

    Have they started yet? No
He's promised a lot and from what I can see doesn't have the money to deliver any of the promises

September I read this morning, funding will be the biggest issue, saying that I would take a small percentage of foreign aid which would still leave billions. As long as they don't take it from other services

It's a bad thing to promise it and not deliver it. Let's see what he actually does.

You're quite naive aren't you? They have promised pay rises for teachers which will come out of schools already tight budgets.
They could have taken it out of the tightening of tax evasion laws being brought in by the EU but hay ho

Tax evasion and avoidance has been clamped down on massively lately, particularly for corporations?

Has it? Really doesn't explain Amazon's tax bill does it .... EU are bringing in even more stringent laws - wonder why some want us out so fast
