It is the most retarded yet accepted tactic in football. Every player that you leave upfield pulls out two attackers. Let alone that every ball you half clear just gets dumped back in your area. It's nearly as stupid as the fact that no one ever marks the person taking a throw in when there's one in the opponents half, despite the fact they get the ball back 90% of the time.
