Away with the Famila in Majorca and I’ve seen a few of these sprayed on walls around a few big hotels in the resort, they’d be knackered without tourists especially the britts who spend money like it’s confetti when there away. It was only 4 years ago the Spanish and Greeks were willing tourists back cos they were on there arse. I watched programme on Sky news a few months ago about the housing crisis in Ibiza which was mainly due to ‘foreigners’ buying up properties and leases, some very highly skilled qualified people living in basically whatever they could get there heads on, sad to see really.
That’s a shame, could have met up for a beer, We’re only going Friday to Monday, Hotel is called plaza Santa Ponsa boutique hotel.
You’ll love it mate, a short walk to the right of your bar and you’ve a strip…..nothing to crazy but lovely enough to make a good night of it, few bars with a singer on too, we’ve been coming for quite some time now and still enjoy as much as first time.
Saw a sign sprayed on a wall in Tenerife but had no water thrown on me or wasn't shouted at - lovely people
Went to Barcelona last year and luckily didn't see anything - they are going to massively shoot themselves in the foot if they continue
Hello Bossman,we just been to your hotel, straight across to beach ,no problems with sun beds, staff amazing ,breakfast good too, loads of great bars round about got decent steak for 15 euros, you should have great time especially if you wear your Celtic top, they was good Craic to be fair the Irish and scottys ,just one thing there’s virtually no shallow end in pool ,anyone who can’t or is nervous of swimming not pool for them, enjoy ,Also If you turn right and go up past bus stop there’s big supermarket at top of hill for cheap wine etc
Also never felt like we wasn’t wanted ,lots of staff said it’s a noisy minority that are against tourists
Never seen as many Celtic shirts…….there’s a family in ours and I don’t think they’ve brought out else apart from Celtic shirts
Isn't it more directed at the ones buying up apartments and villas etc as holiday homes, as opposed to people staying in hotels?
Understandable with local people squeezed out off the housing market causing an increase in homelessness. The main culprits are the Air BNB mob rather than hotels. late stage capitalism is such fun.
