I general I'd agree with you, but the problem with certain situations is that doing nothing in the face of overt political or physical is not a solution. I'm not specifically talking about Kirk or even Trump here, but history is littered with examples where violence against the state and its individuals especially en masse, is successful.

I say that as someone who isn't violent

America today is just like the America in the late 18 hundreds, people running around with guns and letting bang at anyone they don't like, politicians are ruled by the gun lobby. A country that has become a mecca for violence.

Really feel sorry for his wife and two young kids who were there today to witness their husband/father get murdered. 31 years old is no age to leave and i do feel sorry for Charlie Kirk the husband and the family man.

This link is an absolute disgrace and Supertyke should be thoroughly ashamed of his words tonight. For someone who likes to constantly talk about morales and taking the high road he's really, really let himself down with that.

 

I’m more than half-decent, and I’m not horrified by this shooting and his unfortunate death. I’m not surprised either. You don’t have to be anywhere near left on politics to disagree with his views, he was Ultra-right wing. However, the shooting and killing of this man is wrong and tragic. I am horrified when I hear of School shootings etc as these are kids, teachers etc.

 

I don't care what side of the political divide you fall on, but to show no sympathy towards another HUMAN BEING who has been murdered because of his beliefs, again, beliefs that I don't agree with, is absolutely despicable.

That 31 year old young man was a father and a husband. His family will have to watch his literal murder, clipped into videos, used as ammo by the right, and seemingly laughed at by the left, for a generation.

I disagreed with his stance on Israel categorically. Does that mean I can't feel extreme distress at him being assassinated? He said what he said on the 2nd Ammendment, another topic that I dont agree with him on, but to use his words as some sort of vindication for someone murdering him is revolting.

Emotions are clearly high on here tonight, I just hope one or two of you reflect on what you've posted in this thread.

As for that cretin, SuperTyke. He has form. He did the exact same thing years ago when a close friend of mine and alot of other posters on this forum died.
