Speaking of disappointing England games, remember when we once played Colombia in a friendly, and it finished 0-0.
And by the way, I think it was on this very week, back in season '95.
And their keeper Rene Higuita did something spectacular lol, which has been called the scorpion kick ever since.

 

30 sodding years since Where's time go.

 

I think fans at the time said, at least it livened up, a really poor game.
It was also when we had our new Ponty end stand, and we nearly went top of the league for a bit lol.

 

Hadn't play already been halted for a foul or offside?
There was literally nothing to get excited about.

Thing that nobody mentions about that kick is that the ref had already blown for something, higuita I doubt would have tried it otherwise, even as crazy as he was.
