    It’s the usual appalling mess when England are up against an inferior team. The opposition have 10 men behind the ball and England are clueless regarding how to play around or through them. I’m not watching much more of this as Phil Beer is on at the Pocklington Arts Centre tonight and I’m going to see him. Proper entertainment as opposed to this turgid trash on ITV, and it’s only 15 minutes drive from here.

    This is merely a continuation of England under Southgate.

    In fact it's probably worse.

    So Portugal away at the 35th ranked team, managed to break them down to the tune of 5-0, but us at home to the 47th ranked team, could only manage 2.

    Edit.....I'll just add these rankings may well be bøllocks, as England are 1st and Wales are ranked 53rd, with only Gibraltar and San Marino beneath them. Or you may consider that totally accurate..............
