3rd Kit

Apologies if I've missed the conversation already but are we having a 3rd kit this year?
Seems very late in the day if we are, last years was released on Aug 2nd

 

Black with gold pin stripe was the rumour, but god only knows when it's too be released.

 

I dunno but think they should concentrate on getting some home and away shirts back in stock that haven't been available for nearly three weeks, as customer service is dreadful.

 

Sounds great, not sure what the big delay is.
I usually only buy 1 of the 3 shirts but obviously like to have 3 options to choose from.

 

Waiting for the price of gold to drop again.

 

I reckon the Club are towing to get stock, so dont want to announce the kit with the caveat of - "will be on sale in around three months time".

Could be wrong of course.

 

Now that Stevenage away needs to be re-arranged, we won't need the 3rd kit until we play Donny away on November 8th as both the red and white will be deemed to clash.
We might get away with the white kit if we're lucky but I don't think that will suit the "Marketing" Department.

 

We'd have got away with it last season as Donny had black shorts, but they're white this season with red socks. Pretty sure we'll need the 3rd kit as currently we don't even have any shorts that aren't white.

 

It'll be another "Palace away" job where we'll end up raiding their club shop and buying a set of one of their away kits!

 

Oxen produce kits for Barnsley, Donny, Lincoln City and Shrewsbury, we are the only ones not to release the 3rd kit and we are the only ones with availability issues.

 

Are any of the others in league with Fanatics?

 

Club have stopped telling us things again so we have no clue what’s going on.

 

No Donny, Shrewsbury and Lincoln aren't with Fanatics, but Millwall, Reading, Derby, Everton, Sunderland, Chelsea are and have all released 3rd kits, we are the only ones under Fanatics and Oxen not to have released the 3rd Kit.

 

Thought this kit might have been held back for deadline day or something, can only presume now we've chalked on it.
Every other team under oxen released their 3rd kits and have stock.
Not seen any updates from us so perhaps we are going just with 2 this season

 

I might be totally wrong but I’m sure I once read that each team must have a 3rd kit. Maybe we’re waiting until a time where we have to use it?

 

We could always wear the training shorts with our home or away kits when away from home.
