    It's very consistent. In 2019 Liverpool were only fined. 2016 Accrington were fined. 2013 Sunderland were fined.

    I thought it was great that Grimsby beat United but if they fielded an ineligible player they should be chucked out, you can't do it to one club and not another

    We fielded a player who could never have been eligible to play in that game. They fielded a player who would have been eligible had their email or whatever been sent literally one minute earlier. There's a clear difference.

    EFL haven’t t chucked anyone out like Supertyke said above they have fined.
    The FA chucked us out, two completely different organisations.

    it’s even more simplistic than that. Was he ineligible or not. The missing the deadline by a min makes no difference really - he should have just had to sit the game out if they couldn’t get the paperwork done in time.

    But that’s the point it’s not one rule for one, the EFL have been consistent with their approach, there should have been more uproar if they had been kicked out.
    The FA have nothing what so ever to do with this decision.

    That's a question to sway the answer..
    Mot and speeding as someone else said are totally different to football

    What about in a game show then if we're going away from footy,
    you have 10 seconds to answer and answer after 11 seconds and lose.
    It's only 1 second!
