The difference between me and you is that I don't want to help both parties. You only want to help one

Correction he says he wants to help one, while supporting policies that will directly harm that group even further and funnel more money to billionaires.

What do you think of Reform's plans to pay the Taliban to execute human beings?

Suggesting execution might be a bit over the top, ( although I haven't seen any details) Germany have reached a deal with the Taliban and are doing the same already.
Not something I'd advocate myself however.

I’m not sure they will be given a welcome home party and free to go about their business. Also, I don’t remember Germany having to leave the ECHR to carry out this return.

I’m a bit late to this one, but you did post this in response to me so it’s only fair that I basically repeat what others above have already said.

Just because I think one thing is bad, doesn’t mean I think another thing is good. You know?

I am appalled at the scale of homelessness in this country. I mean, I’m left wing. A member of the Green Party. And it was a huge part of the manifesto last year.

In fairness, the Labour plan for homes/housing also serve to address the issue.

You’ll be unsurprised to learn that the Tories never mentioned it in their manifesto. And nor did Reform include homelessness in theirs.

That reads as if Germany has been doing it for some time but stopped when the Taliban seized control.
Not defending it just saying it was probably going on before Brexit.

You didn't mention that they are deporting convicted offenders, not innocent asylum seekers. The quote below is from the BBC. I still disagree with this on humanitarian grounds; they face the possibility of amputations and maybe even the death sentence upon their return.

Germany says it has carried out its first deportation of convicted Afghan offenders since the return of the Taliban to power in Afghanistan three years ago.

I agree with you.. but I'm also wary that they have not confirmed what they were convicted of, and that they have since confirmed that not all those deported on the two flights that have left so far have convictions. But overall I don't know enough about the situation. Although I struggle with the idea that anyone genuinely fleeing the Taliban, being sent back to them can be a good thing on any grounds.

I read an Amnesty Int. article some time ago asking for Afghans not to be repatriated and was surprised to read that Germany had restarted the process . I didn't mention it because, if you notice, I said I hadn't seen any details of what was being proposed by Farage other than the OP's comment.

Yet it's anything left of far right that does name calling,

If that doesn't highlight the danger of mob mentality that's being whipped up my a fascist agitator with right Wing media support, I really don't know what will.

Ah good old Bowthorpe. A friend of mine lives around there. I'll find out if he's seen that or knows the guy.

According to him, the "protestors" meet in a local pub about lunchtime, drink til about mid afternoon then march down to the Brook Hotel to shout racist things for an hour or two.. then head back to the pub. Pretty sure they don't have a job between them.

The policing of those protests cost the taxpayer around £150-200k in August
