    What a day!!!
I was living in London at the time. I got ahead of myself trying to descend the long escalator at Tottenham Court Road and ended up arse over tit with a massive cut on the top of my head.
There was an ambulance strike at the time so I was taken to hospital in the back of a Black Maria with 2 rows of coppers sat on the benches in the back of the van.
Still have the scar but the memory lives on…

Wimbledon yesterday was my 136 ground, and like most London grounds was a joy to visit. The stewarding was the best I've ever seen (take note Charlton Athletic!).

Accrington Stanley is by some distance the best football away ground experience I've had but in terms of grounds/experience combined, Fulham for me.

Fulham is just lovely isn’t it. The walk from the station, the ground, the fans, the fact that home and away enter through the same turnstiles, the friendliness of the club (even better now the rapist is dead and gone) and the pubs, where the fans are amongst the friendliest in the country, even when we beat them. In fact, especially when we beat them. And they used to have ‘Diddy’ David Hamilton as their pitchside announcer. If you say ‘diddy’ before the name of a 70s Radio One DJ the answer is usually ‘yes, he probably did’.

I didn’t much enjoy standing there watching them beat us 5-1 one Sunday. I think that was the one when the ref forgot to send Mitch Ward off (the way he was playing I was shouting to the ref to remind him), on a Sunday, live on TV, during the fuel strike, so there weren’t many Reds fans there, so us London branchers probably made up half the away end. But I enjoyed the 3-0 just before the first lockdown and the 3-1 some time ago, when we only had one shot on target! I think it was after that game when we got talking to a Fulham fan on the way back into the West End to meet our lady friends and brought him along with us. He even ended up in the Borderline til 2 with us. We never asked his name, so imaginatively called him Fulham all night.

I'd go with Loftus Road as one of my faves. Nicely compact and seemed to generate a good noise.
Craven Cottage was always a pleasure to visit.
Upton Park was laid out nicely, and i think they've done great with The Valley.
Others I've enjoyed down the years were Goodison Park, Leeds Road and Blundell Park.

    Funny story
The floodlighting "tripods" were never meant to be there as the lights were meant to follow the roofs of the stands but someone disvovered that they would be too low for certain levels of football!

    Anywhere when we win.
But for atmosphere. The old Baseball ground. And Burnley when we had down the side. Also Anfield of course.

MK Dons, just from a comfort perspective, nowt to do around the ground though.

Remember Maine Road always being a loud place, don't think the Etihad has the same presence.
