You can only correct me if I’m wrong, I repeat some posters post on MDT only when things are not going our way, that’s their prerogative of course but it’s like they’re waiting to pounce on the first bit of negativity. Opinions are fine and are all rarely universally shared and I’m not advocating otherwise.
all strikers miss clear cut chances, even in the top leagues. I don't see him as being that old, his experience will no doubt be telling if we do manage promotion.
There were a couple of turning point moments for me yesterday and it just felt that they changed the momentum and the game. First McGoldrick's miss and then Cooper's unforced clearance error which led to their opening goal. Up until then we were the better side. Yes, the defence, particularly the centre-backs, were awful and Cooper saved them after that but at the end of the day from the point of the first goal on it never felt like it was going to be our day despite further chances (and the excellent backing). At the end of the day they were better than us at both ends of the pitch and clearly had more options off the bench. Don't know how many times I've said this but minimum two centre backs and at least one forward needed in the next week or we will continue to be vulnerable to literally any team in the division.
Some cringe behaviour yesterday, 1st defeat of the season and came on the back from 3 straight away wins, yet someone near me was screaming for Hourihane to ‘get them off the field’ and another one telling his own fans not to applaud the players at half time.
