DMcG just had a fantastic overhead kick but hit the post. Deserved a goal that

Much easier games than Wimbledon. They’ve been the best side we’ve played up to now

 

I think Wimbledon have used up an entire seasons worth of luck this afternoon.

compared to our cb’s I would put an other to swap for dovers

We've played with 10 men today, How McGoldrick is still on the field il never know.

Russell and Clearly on 15 minutes too late.

I hope this is a wake up call for recruitment.

 

Mdg is no better than what’s on the pitch.

 

Sums us up taking both our center mids off including the captain..

 

Absolutely woeful.

The board have a choice to make, spend some brass on a CB & ST for a top half finish or remain as we are & finish bottom half.

 

Think we've looked much better since Vimal came on. Much more energy & aggressive than Russell.

 

All today is showing is what we already knew we are woefully lacking in Central Defence and at Center Forward. But then again we've been lacking there for two seasons which as been clear to everyone apart from those in charge at Oakwell. Big week needed on the recruitment front or it's mid to lower end of the table come May I'm afraid.

 

I think so far this game is indicative of where we are. We dont have a striker to share the load with McGoldrick or give us something from the bench. More urgently, we still can't defend. Too easy to score against. The signings we have made have been good but the squad in total still has a couple of gaps.
