Mcgoldrick looks his age today, slow but he should have taken his chance. Were not playing well today but credit to Wimbledon they look up for it and we don’t.

 

Don’t think the problems are all the headless chickens in defence. We keep losing the ball in midfield. Phillips and DKD are not having their best games up to now but we can still win this.

 

Yes should have been at least 3 to them. But we should have had atleast 1 too.

Massive improvement needed

Seem scared to shoot again like on Tuesday. Could easily be 3-3 with the chances both teams have had, Murph has saved us and their defenders and our reluctance to shoot on sight has saved them

 

This is my first watch under the new regime and it looks quite luck-lustre - was expecting a bit more urgency, running at players, byline crosses and the rest. It's been a bit of a borefest. Some good possession but nothing much different than before. Is this the worst so far under CH?

 

We were 2 nil down against Burton at HT and turned it around, be reight

 

Imho...A pretty good watch...Wimbledon are the best team so far and deserve their lead.
Positives for us...Cooper has had a great game and Watson our best player on that showing.
Their keeper made one of the best saves I've seen from McGoldrick.....I think hopefully we improve slightly second half but I still believe we will lose.
Decent game against good opposition.

 

The folly of relying on McGoldrick as our only striker option is very apparent. That’s not to say he won’t contribute but as the main man I’m deffo not sure.

 

Come up against a team that isn't playing the tippy tappy ***** and this is what we serve up. Defensively we look ******* horrendous. The only positive to take out of that half is we're only 1-0 down.

 

Look half asleep first half. Either that or they're knackerred. Look sluggish and tentative going forward, shakey at the back (not a shock) and McGoldrick is having another "I'm not 37, I'm 73 halves".

Poor all over the pitch barring Ogbeta who has produced a couple of good balls into the box.

We just look disjointed. Need to make some changes and get some fresh legs into the side.

Recruitment team need to pull their fingers out, McGoldrick could've probably done with giving today a miss based on what I've seen this first half.

That's how I've seen it. The goal we conceded was inexcusable and seemed to knock us somewhat. But in general I don't think we've been too bad. Kelly has been excellent again and we've certainly showed signs of being able to hurt them. Should be a good second half.

 

Wimbledon look a decent well organised team but won’t be anywhere near top six , next goal is crucial , game over if they get it.

 

One of those where you’re happy to only be a goal behind.

That said, as bad as it’s been, if Watters… sorry, McGoldrick scores from a yard out, different game.

Front three have been useless, Connell far too slow and Watson aside, the defence look ropey as f***.

Can only get better…
