I predict that I have no idea how to predict the result of any of our games. We could have quite easily lost all 4 league games so far, and the cup game. There's been a Rizla paper between the sides. We've taken more of our chances than the opposition, and that may continue considering the quality we have at sticking the ball in the back of the net. But equally, our less than average defence could continue to serve up chances to the opposition and they might start to take them. We've a belief about ourselves that I haven't seen for a while, and while that's good to see, I don't necessarily share it. When we won 5 straight league games at the start of the 96-97 season, the gap in class was unbelievable. If we'd won all those 6-0 there could be no complaints. This isn't that. But it doesn't mean we won't keep on winning because our players seem to be better at scoring goals than most of the teams we'll play. But it could easily fall apart too. Or we might start to be deserving of all the points we're accumulating by being better than the opposition in all areas of the pitch. I just don't know.
You could quite easily have won the lottery last week too but you didn’t. I’m guessing you’re certainly a glass half empty instead of half full kinda guy.
Sums my feelings up mate. I definitely get that feeling that something is happening and we have loads of room to progress. Quality finishing is often the difference
I'm guessing you didn't read my whole post, just the first couple of lines. Or maybe I didn't express my point very well. Either way, no, that is not even close to what was being expressed.
I'm going for a 3-1 Barnsley win. Barnsleys defence to leak a goal as its still not sound enough and Barnsley to breach Wimbledon's so-called excellent defence which may not be as good as its cracked up to be. So, it will obviously be 3-1 to Wimbledon.
We've already come through many tests, so I'm going to go for the Triple Crown. A win, a clean sheet and to finish the game with 11 men.
Difference between this season and last season isn’t just the finishing, it’s better fitness (not hard I grant you). I’m convinced that if Clarke was at the helm for the Peterborough game, we’d have lost 1-0 to some 85th minute goal. Anyway, we’ll lose this one 2-1 because Barnsley.

I agree we look fitter, but we conceded ‘ stoppage time’ goals in both halves against Fleetwood and almost got caught out late against Peterboro’
