I think I fancy a score draw, maybe 2-2. I think we’ll be the better side but if the back 4 is Bland, De Gevigney, Earl & Ogbeta then I can see them having a few chances.

 

Would’ve been really confident of a win had we not lost our 2 starting CBs from last week. However, I’m cautiously optimistic of a win but likely to be a narrow one. 2-1 or 1-0 to us. DKD to score

 

It would have been ideal to have played with last weeks starting 11 but thats football.If Earl and Mael had come straight into the team from the under 11.s I would have been worried.The structure of the team appears to be more organised so I haven't any fears pairing 2 defenders who have around 400 games between them.
Looking at last years defence it seemed a mixture of lackof fitness,lack of technical and tactical nous with a lack of motivation as our main problems.

 

1 injury and a suspension and the starting eleven is in complete disarray. Not good enough I'm afraid, shambles...... Where's biddy37.

can’t see our weakened defence solving the leaky habits and we need to get over the home form issue.

 

Burton have quite a bit of pace going forward. Despite the excellent rearguard action last week, I think they'll breach our patched-up back line on more than one occasion. However, we've got goalscoring threats throughout the midfield and forward line, which should be enough to see us home and dry. I'm going for another entertaining and high-scoring game, with us coming out on top.
