Delighted for Max and for the Arabs. Hope he stays fit and has an absolutely cracking season for you.

He's a good player, don't listen to what anyone else says. He's fast as hell and he can finish. His minutes to goals ratio is excellent. Unfortunately he's made of biscuits and can't stay fit. If he can, Dundee Utd will have a great player.
Not watching but apparently missed a bit of a sitter just before. I hope he does well and scores loads for them.
The amount of chances he missed at Bristol rovers alone was concerning. He should have had atleast 4. But when he was here on loan, the one touch finishing was about the only thing he was good at. When he came here permanently, his overall game improved, stretching the defence, but I think his confidence was so knocked that his finishing turned to ****. If he stays fit, has a run of games, builds up his confidence in front of goal, I think he will have a very decent season.
100% this. He, like most of the squad, never looked fully fit last season. Whether the injuries were caused by it, or the reason for it, I’ve no idea, but when 100%, playing and confident, he’ll bag a few.
He is indeed, at the kind of level he's now playing at, which is beneath the level we play. I wish him all the best, including a desire for him to prove me wrong. Notwithstanding the issue of never being fit, his all round game just wasn't quite there for what we need/needed. Watching McGoldrick yesterday really highlighted what we've missed by having Watters and Cosgrove as our options - just the fact that a ball forward didn't immediately come back at us was a real boost. Watters' yardstick of success doesn't have to be matching McGoldrick, but it does show how much more there needs to be to his game to get into the top 3 divisions and be successful
