Are you in the kit room at Oakwell?! By the way, we're playing in the away kit on Saturday as far as I remember.
Still don't get any better though, fans especially kids want the new kit in full available from the start of the season not Christmas
Ehh, surely not Green v Red, gotta be in Red where possible, I get it commercially but come on that's daft
Just what I thought, the whole purpose of second and third kits is to change when the home team play in red
As far as I know, red kit Vs green kit isn't allowed anymore. It's something to do with people who are colour blind and also it doesn't mix well on TV.
We have different sponsors home and away. I doubt we will wear red in any game away from Oakwell this season; it will have been agreed commercially. The away and third kits have Rapid Response as sponsor (the third will have when it’s announced anyway); home The Investment Room. They won’t want to pay to be on shirts that aren’t going to be used most of the time. The days of wearing red unless there’s a clash are long gone. What might be interesting (or not) is if they need to use the ‘home’ keeper kit away from home now and again, or if the home blue keeper kit can’t be used due to the opposition away kit or referee kit choices. Will they swap sponsors around on the same kit?
This! And regarding keeper kits, we'll probably have a couple more for circumstances like that. We seem to have 3 or 4 different keeper kits each season.
Still doesn't alter the fact all kits should be available at start of season, we are all having a laugh at our friends down the road, but we drop some gaffs ourselves
I don't disagree with you mate. Troff was making a point about home kits being worn at home and away kits being worn away due to contractual reasons, which I also agree with. From a selfish perspective, I'm not too fussed about the socks as I don't intend on buying them. Though I don't think a pair of socks being delayed is comparable to the mess Wednesday are in.
Don't Christmas films tend to have a lot of white in them with it snowing? Plus lots of other colours too? Just Google the question about kits and it gives you the answer! I'm pretty sure it's common knowledge about sports teams changing colours due to people who suffer with colour blindness.
I'm not bothered over the socks but my grandkids are, but the last I heard the new ones for the team hadn't arrived, which if true ,isn't a good start especially when Conor is trying to get everything spot on, insisting ground is spruced up a bit etc. It is not fair on him
