Is this one of our media team or a journo, asking the questions? The questioning style is terrible. Almost every question is waffly, includes the word 'obviously' and is loaded with an assumed response. Are you asking him or telling him?

It comes up on the video, a caption saying ‘Barnsley Chronicle’ or ‘Yorkshire Post’ asking the questions. I think they deserve credit for improving the audio quality immensely, and the ad-board looks sharp too.

So it does. Didn't spot that, cheers. Agree, the AV is sound. Just the journo's questioning style that grinds my gears.

I think if they asked questions that were too provocative they probably wouldn't get invited back. But it does lead to pretty dull press conferences. You could copy & paste most of the questions and answers from one press conference to another

Doug O'Kane and Leon Wobschall in particular have dreadful interview styles. Rambling question, then almost answer the question for the interviewee, then add a bit of a random question framed in such a way it usually derives a yes response.

Much better with the written word than the spoken.

To be fair, it’s not their prerogative to be great on camera or audio. They just want the quotes for their paper.

I agree... We still have to endure it when we watch the interviews though.

Rom the audio point of view its tons better. I stopped listening in previous seasons because whilt I could hear the interviewee response I could never hear the questioner properly so ften had to guess at the question.

I thought the questions were reasonable and fair.Theres not a lot you can ask before a ball has been kicked.Fitness, transfers in and out, potential transfers how the squad has settled in and questions on Saturdays opponents. Not a lot more could be added.
