Does anyone feel a little bit sorry for Sheffield Wednesday in their current predicament ?

    How do you start a go fund me page for Chansiri
    No not to help him solve Wednesday's financial problems but to keep him in beer for a couple of years and to say thank you for the entertainment
    He's doing a cracking job
    He's one of the best secretive Wednesday haters for sometime lol

    Love this!

    there's talk of the players refusing to play if they don't get paid. What would happen then? Would they get chucked out the league? That would be great because then they'd really have to start at the bottom again!

    Millwall and Middlesbrough. Lining up a move for Bannan. His loyalty I'm guessing is being severely tested.

    If they can't field a team, its counted as a 3-0 to the other team.

    If they don't pay the players, its breach of contract and they can leave for free after a period of time. I can't remember how long that is though - although players might still continue to pay on the basis that being promised to be paid in future is better than getting nothing when you don't have a club.

    I reckon some may be blinded by the name. Thinking 'all's well that ends well.'
    Bannan imo will fit that category at the mo.

    All of this reminds me of one of those horrendous American soap operas from the 80s and 90s. Everything about it was over the top, pretentious drivel, but you just couldn't take your eyes off it. Every week the storylines got more and more ridiculous, each new revelation crazier than the last, until finally one of the characters was abducted by aliens.

    I doubt there's a spaceship big enough to take all the Wednesday fans away in it, but I live in hope...

    Would think the Middlesbrough scenario would apply where they would get a fine and points deduction for failing to have enough players for a game.

    Have heard the same as
    @AlexMiller91
    about hotel rooms for Sheffield Wednesday players at Leicester. If they want to stay over the night before, as is typical, it appears they would have to pay for their own rooms. Otherwise it’s a coach there and back on the day. #SWFC

    Is that’s whats normal these days? - putting 30 odd people up in a hotel the night before a game that’s only an hour and a half down the road - no wonder clubs are skint
