Does anyone feel a little bit sorry for Sheffield Wednesday in their current predicament ?

Have to agree. Heard one Billy big ****** bragging about fan numbers within earshot walking down Wembley way. Other than that not much else. Back at work most thought we were hard done by.
But tbf we can't be everywhere at once.
Nice to get boxpark though lol. Best fan venue at Wembley. Or anywhere for that matter.

We were in a pub pre-match and they all sang 'dirty red and white b4st4rds' really very loud.

    I was most offended.

300 of em and 4 of us. We needed 2 or 3 more to make it a fair fight

I had to put up with a load of them last season owing to young Alfie playing for Stocksbridge. Even spent a full weekend in Belgium with them to be fair some were good lads and I enjoyed their company but one in particular was proper knob. Had to put up with him as I was clearly out numbered but when we came back at the next game he spouting about boxpark and how the management really wanted the wendies to have it Couldn't resist saying not surprised as there were 1.5 million of them there his answer your still bitter aren't you,you bet I am was my answer.

As if they could have got more in tell him. 1out 1in early doors. And box park if I remember rightly said. Best fans to visit the venue. It was buzzing in there.
But did see a few jealous looks and heard grumbles from a few wendies as we were queuing to get in lol.

Non of that fitted his narrative. Don't let the truth get in the way of bigging the massive up as I said i feel a bit for some of the lads but just for him the quicker s6 gets as asda on lepping lane the better.

Struggling to think what the difference is here.

Reading didn't pay wages on time = pts deduction, embargo
Sheff Utd didn't pay transfer fees = pts deduction, embargo

Sheff Weds haven't paid wages on time again, apparently owe transfer fees for Malik Wilks to Hull City from 3 years ago = embargo, surely they should be deducted pts ?

The rules are a minefield mate.
But I fail to see how wendy can continue breaking some of them. Without points deductions. Not all cases are the same, Reading were charged with other offences as well. That chansiri must have got round somehow. Utd for payments not paid on time to other clubs re fees. Another mystery.
5yr investigation to take place :).
But get ready if they go into administration if no-one steps in. Which is highly likely imo and folk in waiting hoping it to happen. Getting em for 50p and a blackies egg. Multi millions needed to update the Sty will be a fortune.

If they fail to pay HMRC, I think they'll be faced with something worse than a points deduction.

Thing is, Chansiri can just sit on his hands and let the club go to the dogs can't he? Doesn't he own the lot? Apart from not paying folk, is he breaking any laws?

They were fairly harmless, although I suspect if we'd not been two dads-with-lads, it might have got interesting. I think they were a bit bemused that 4 Barnsley fans would just wander into a mobbed Wendy pub. Chatting to a couple of them at the bar.....they were definitely more nervous than us.....

Reading was for failing to stick to an agreed plan and not paying HMRC not wages.
Like someone else said minefield and complicated rules, should be really simple to adhere to and unified punishment.

If he can get more money from land than he can from selling the club he's the type of bloke who will go for the bigger pay day and it wouldn't be hard because he's already split the club off from the ground. Plus he doesn't live in the UK so won't be affected by any fallout. Oh dear how sad :D:D:D:D
