    Vickers/ Farrugia who can both play on the RH side. Both have looked very good down that side.

    I've been thinking the same thing. Take a low offer for Connell... put in a higher offer for this lad... Bring back James Norwood :D

    Vickers can't play both wings at same time can he. Vickers mainly a left winger.

    Get Thomas and we have 2 proper right wingers in him and Jalo when Jalo is back and then 2 for left in Vickers and young Cleary. Farrugia can cover both too if needs be.

    Vickers Played on the RH side at York most of the game and scored coming in from that side, He was more than able. So did Farrugia. When he came on.

    Jalo can play anywhere up front.
    Cleary down that LH side. Very good but needs to get a grip with his final ball.

    Full Backs are needed. MDV not his natural position allus wanting to drift into the middle. Highlighted at Both Harrogate and York. Ogbetta looked OK and Ghent to come back. We need cover.
    And Hopefully Shepherd. Lopata. Earl. Roberts can cover CH between em.
    Cooper no.1. Other than that gaff at Worksop. Been excellent.
    I'm not averse to other players coming in. But where most need is.

    Absolutely no pace in those centre half positions. I hope the full backs aren’t going to just bomb on and leave us exposed time and again. And if Luca goes, who is the holding midfielder?

    In fact, where’s the right backs?

    Loads to do. I fear a bit of a beating on the opening day unless DKD and Diddlydizzlydoodar are pulling rabbits out of hats.

    Definitely need a RB. Hopefully the Salford lad signs on.

    Farrugia and Jalo have struggled injury wise. And with Conor wanting to play with wingers and having a big importance on that. One more winger definitely won't hurt. But it is vital we get that Salford lad or another RB in asap.

    Tbh YT Id struggle to name many of our CH's with pace that's been quality.
    Most of our greats could read the game better and had a very good defensive midfielder in front of em.

    Reckon Lopata will be off and I still think we need another CH, preferably one with some pace. Realise this is unlikely if no one else leaves.
    RB is a must for the reasons you state about MDG.
    We don’t have a natural CF at all so that has to be a priority too.
    Reckon Connell will be off so need his replacement and possibly another one in MF too as we can’t rely on young Bland week in week out.
    If we sign this Thomas we’re going to be overloaded with wingers but we always seem to stockpile one position every season.
    Going to be plenty of comings and goings I imagine before September 1st. Hard to see us hitting the ground running but we live in hope.

    I'm sure Conor said something about prioritising clean sheets and making us difficult to beat but I don't see it with any of our slow central defenders and lack of protection from midfield. Another 75 goals incoming at the moment is my fear.

    Yes forgot to mention lopata. I believe he's injured D. (I was banking on him and Shepherd first choices) Very good reports when he played up in Scotland.
    Cleary is I believe supposed to be a Centre forward. But with Mcgoldrick and DKD just behind him. They've utilised him on the LH side last 2 games. As you say comings and goings will dictate what happens.

    That’s a good point to be honest. Let’s hope Shep kicks on because he’s the quickest of them, and that Luca stays or we recruit someone who can properly protect that back line.

    Couple of full backs would be nice also!
