It's started disastrously. We'd got a chippy tea lined up, just in time for kick-off. Plates in the oven, mushy peas on, bread buttered & tea brewed. Been over for the fish & chips - chippy closed until Wednesday
Fishfingers, oven chips, plus the aforementioned extras. Chippy's normally opened Sundays. They've picked this week to close for 4 days
Is it still illegal for Chippies to sell fish on Sundays in England? I thought it was one of those archaic laws still on the books.
