    Heard from a decent source it's a club driven decsion, been told we want offload him to reduce wages, player was wanting to return been told to find a new club.

    I think I saw a picture of him in a Barnsley training top but looked like he was in an office of some sorts, rather than actually training.

    Unless he’s showing horrendous attitude, I’m not sure there’s any reason to keep him out of pre season. Even if we wanted to sell, surely it would be more advantageous for us if he was fit and ready to go.

    He's got good control and can pass.

    The problem is he can't do all the other things that lets him be a good League One footballer. Tackle, run, work hard etc.

    You never know what his contract says.. If he was desperate to leave France or where ever it was, he may have signed a
    performance/appearance related contract. That allows us to let him go at little or no cost to us. Surely we've learnt from the two Belgians

    If it’s true we don’t want him, it’s amazing the number of players we sign and then decide very quickly we don’t want them.

    It’s like my mums collection of mugs, we just collect them, put them in a cupboard out of the way or let someone else drink out of them for a bit and then decide we might as well get rid of them, having practically never used them ourselves.

    I like him but he plays like the 2025 version of Jan Molby, and football has moved on a bit since then. No bother if he doesn't come back but I'd like an addition to the squad, Bland/Yog will be consistently inconsistent while they gain experience.
