    Fair play to Crawley, great shift today.

    I’ve not been his biggest fan, but credit where credit is due that’s some innings. Probably deserved to get to 100. But that’s more like it from him.

    He's resigned to it.! Joe's played some lovely shots this morning. Much as I love Joe, even if he tops the list Bradman is still the gest batsman ever in my mind, his average will never be bettered!

    Think it's a 60% chance he can, they were saying on Sky yesterday. If he stays injury free, I think he needs to average around 30 an innings if he plays the same number of tests as Tendulkar.

    Tendulkar played international cricket until he was 40… will Root play that long ?
    There’s no physical reason and he seems to love the game so why not ?
