    DKD had a great game yesterday and showed that he doesn’t need to score to be effective. His movement and pass to McGoldrick was exceptional, as was the finish. Even better was the way he brought down that ball played to him at pace, with the outside of his foot. His calm pass inside then set up Vimal for the brilliant third goal.

    I’ll stick my neck out here and say forget any bids around £5 million, if there are any. I’d value him the same as Birmingham paid for Jay Stansfield. £15 million. Not a penny less!!

    DKD is a very clever player. He will only get better with someone like McGoldrick next to him imho. Unfortunately I can see him having a really strong start to the season and someone will come in with a big bid. :(

    Yes I think that will happen but I hope we hold out for a huge fee. I’d rate him as good if not better than Stansfield so why not start the bidding at £15 million?

    It was a great 1st touch and lay off for the 3rd and a class finish from vimal. Hope we keep dkd but if he goes should get a big fee like you say.

    Stansfield is 22 though and DKD is 28. I agree that he’s up there as a player but his resale value will tumble due to his age. That’s why we’ll struggle to get a big fee for him.
