You probably won't have noticed because unlike mothers day it's just shoved off to one side and isn't really promoted. Couldn't shift for potential others day presents in meadowhall a couple of months ago. Sod all there for fathers day except a few cheesy t-shirts that say "worlds best dad" on them
Theres always Next season's shirts always a favourite Fathers day gift for Reds fans especially being able to show them off when your kids take you for Fathers day lunch. Ohh sorry just checked new kit not arrived yet (again). Ahh well there's always the Tax disc holder from the sale bin they've got loads of them
Flatbread wouldn't commit to when the kit new kit would arrive in his recent interview other than saying it should be in stock very soon. That may be Christmas then
I wish I could wish my Late Dad a Happy Father's Day. He died just before Christmas 1999 and I still miss him. On the plus side, I have two wonderful grown up children and two perfect grandchildren. I am very lucky.
A selection of bottled beers and some licorice allsorts purchased today, ready to take round tomorrow.
Lost Dad in November, so tomorrow will be a little strange. My youngest will need a reminder, my eldest is a chef so we're eating at his restaurant tomorrow
I wish both my parents were still here, so I could wish them happy mams day, and happy dads day, each year.
I'm not even a dad. I'm just a step dad. As long as I feel I serve a purpose to the 2 girls then I'm not really that bothered by anything else.
You wouldn't believe the drive around I've had to do today to find a father's day card. Got to say I've noticed the lack of availability today tbh
Wish I'd a fathers day's card to send. But brought some on holiday from the kids and dogs. Amazing writing have our dogs
And here's the thing. We don't do it for presents, or praise. Just for the joy of being there for our loved ones!
I've just searched my emails and the word father, fathers or father's doesn't bring up a single result from this year for me and I must get about 20 random spam emails a day. Was also on the radio with the presenter saying "it's this Sunday?" There's no denying that it isn't respected to anywhere near the level that mothers day is sadly
Mi dad drove us all ower to watch the super Reds, from Newcastle to Plymouth. And yes that Blackpool one in the snow. R.I.P. Dad.
I imagine its a result of poeple spending more on mothers day. Now with more promotion would the increase in fathers day spending be worth it? Who knows. The companies who have the data must think not.
I assume that's right and must be the same for clothing in general. 6 square miles of women's clothing and one rack for mens in most shops but as you say, they must have the data. The odd thing with it though is that every man I've ever spoke to about it says they would spend more if there was more but the lack of options stops them spending
My Dad got me to Anfield to see the start of the match in 1982 (still don't know how). That'll do me. RIP Dad
