Boring formulaic risk-free football, turning humans into robots, greedy players and clubs spending obscene amounts of money, silly VAR decisions. All washed down with theocratic petro-fascists money hmmmm, lovely.
Was a boring season so that's a fair observation. Personally find football very boring these days so I rarely watch a full match.
Football is dead as I see it. Last game of any excitement I watched was Barnsley v Wednesday at home 4 2 . I was off my seat most of the game ,other than that it is pretty dull. Like most football games. Disco kept telling me this is modern football. It's not for me anyway.
I have a Sky subscription. Mainly for the cricket but the opportunity to watch the Reds on the Reds button makes it better value. I do not watch a Premier League game from start to finish very often. I record them and fast forward for the goals or watch them on recap. Packed defences and possession football may be effective but it does not make for exciting games.
It's years since I watched a full match at Oakwell. Either chatting with mates or people sat near me, leaving early etc. Football bored me for years.
