I think Bannan should comfortably be able to cover the outstanding wages on his packet.

They are being paid too much, I fully agree, as footballers in general are in top divisions. However, on the other side of the coin, they've signed a contract and they should expect that to be honoured. It's not the individual footballers fault, that the club (any club) were stupid enough to offer a deal in the first place.

I was listening to Talksport a few weeks ago and Simon Jordan mentioned that he was chatting to wealthy Saudis friends who were looking to purchase a football club and he recommended Wednesday,

Teams sign players to hopefully give them an advantage over the sides they will face.
If you sign players you can't afford to pay it's an unfair advantage...its cheating.

He can afford to pay. But appears not to want to use his own money in the bank. But waits for debts from clients to come in, to pay the bill. I'll be shocked if he is still owner of the club for much longer. It'll end up being someone else's toy to play with.

Just a thought. On my part.
We are in a situation where money is no object to some investors but at the end of the day it doesn't guarantee success. Most will lose money. They CAN afford. I just wonder in the next few decades how many of em will want to stay in the game due to lack of silverware. And look elsewhere to satisfy their ego's/expectations.
I fully expect a european superleague in some form. Or an invitation only to a premier league to evolve (promotion available based on facilities and wealth) . The sooner that happens, I think the better.
Take sheffield united fans last week..
Many were quite happy not to get promoted. Due to in the main, the uncompetitive nature of the prem.

You make a good point, though having signed a contract doesn't prevent a lot of players from pushing for a transfer, if they could get a better contract elsewhere.

Wednesday are the gift that keeps giving, and will keep doing so as long as the EFL allows them to get away with it.

And I've just seen a comment on FB that sums that club up:

"If attendances matter so much, why are Wednesday so s***?"
    And the reply:
    "And so skint?"

If not paid tomorrow then they get hit with a 3 window embargo.

Good old Chansiri. Sends out the season ticket early bird offer in December then sticking his hand down the back of the sofa on the 1st of June.

Just guessing, but I would imagine most season ticket holders will already have renewed. As they went on sale afore xmas again (early bird) Now on average £100 more. £575. (£25per game.) On the kop.
£700-£780 (£30-£34 per game) other 3 stands Adults.
Fekk knows what pay on day will be.
