Port Vale have chosen this coming seasons kit in recognition to their 150th anniversary.

Please Barnsley FC do this version in red top and white shorts for us this coming season ( I know their are rumours of us no longer dealing with puma)

Yeah I think footy kits are best at their most basic, and that's a good one.
I'd be happy to see something like that as our away kit, the plain white n black.
As a nod of course, back to the late 70s.

Chuffin hate hooped socks. And as for this seasons kits. They would have been sorted months ago. I believe it was said at a meeting once, around November is the norm. I'm guessing YT may have a good idea of the time span. Let's hope ours are released a lot sooner than the norm. If puma have been dropped for a less familiar brand. That might help. Given the bigger clubs will have priority imo.

Will they be forced to play with the old ball, which weighs about 20 lbs when wet?

Ok I don't like hooped socks either lol, even though it does bring back memories of a few good seasons.

Loved the hooped socks and we did well in seasons in which we wore them. However please bring back red shirts and white shorts.

The designs used to be signed off a couple of months into the season, yeah. October/November. Well in advance. So quite a few staff would know the next kits about nine months before release.

If they've changed manufacturer, then whilst I'd imagine it'll be a similar timeline, you never know. It was only ever Puma in my eight-year stint. I still think the blue kit from the 17/18 season was as good as it gets, of the Puma lot. And I think they barely wore it.

Got that in bedroom drawer. Only thing with Puma was I needed a 4xl for length. Which looks like a tent.

Puma have made a good job of the port vale 150 year retro tbf. Looks nice simple and classy.

When it was dropping from height and you were underneath it playing centre half there was no escape. It was like heading concrete. No wonder some old players have developed problems. I remember once getting the flight wrong and taking it on the top of my head. I saw a fantastic arrangement of stars, blue and green, slowly popping and bursting.

That’s just about the only decent effort aside the Green with Red & White stripes the rest have been meh ! Black and gold was okay but ruined by the pathetic Toby badge

Love that Port Vale kit. Love hooped socks. Don't like the Puma being so prominent on the socks but other than that as good as I've seen for a long time.

I always like shirts with collars! Collars seem to being phased out nowadays. Presumably not having them makes a percentage difference to some metric that is suddenly vitally important. But I prefer a shirt with a collar and this is smart.

Absolutely stonking kit. Would love to see us wearing something similar. Hooped socks are awesome.

Classically simple. Love the PVFC embroidery instead of a badge. Just like the old days.
