Anyone bought a ticket for any of the games yet? I cannot believe the prices are this year especially at spurs ground 160 plus admin fees. God knows what Wembley is going to be. I think they have killed the goose this year, probably TV for me.
Just got through £66 ticket £33 booking fee £2 to send ticket. Guess what I'm sat next to god I'm that far up, b.gger it,I'm not paying that.
Wembley went on sale the previous week to the Tottenham games. We no longer have season ticket privileges, as the NFL has removed them, and none of our group is interested in going this year for crappy fixtures at inflated prices. I'm planning to try for the Dublin game, as it's a better fixture, a new venue and cheaper to get to from Leeds than going to London. They've priced many formerly loyal attendees out of wanting to go, and have pretty much given up attempting to provide interesting matchups.
It varies, as there's a culture of tickets being posted for re-sale over there, so it's dependent on demand. I was in Vegas last Summer when one of the pre-season games was on there and could have picked up a ticket for $10. When I went back in December, the game vs the Falcons was selling at $150+ but there were loads of Falcons fans in town that weekend, so clearly a demand from them (the Raider's season had long since been over by then). Many of the London season ticket holders are planning, or have booked, trips to the US to watch their teams play over there for equivalent cost to what they'd have had to pay to replicate their season tickets this year, although everyone has lost the previous right to purchase the seats they held so some are opting to buy cheaper seats. Existing ST holders were just given access to a 24 hour pre-sale prior to general sale. Presumably next season it will be a single window that opens up for everyone. Noticeably, there is still plenty of availability for all London games currently. They've previously sold out on the first day of general sale. I'm pretty sure that they will eventually sell out this season's games, but whether those buying tickets will have the same longevity to keep returning as those they've alienated remains to be seen.
Yeah but what are the interesting match ups based on, and would that be for fans here, or for the US fans. And don't they pre book these matches a season in advance, so they can't pick teams who are currently in good form in the season. And like I keep saying, them forcing Jacksonville on us all every single season, and even twice sometimes. Its pathetic!.
I've got tickets for Giants @ Bears at Soldier Field and Eagles @ Packers at Lambeau Field in November if that helps....
