Rumarn Burrell who scored the 2nd goal is an interesting one. Signed by Burton Albion last season after scoring for fun in Scottish League 1. Played 15 minutes in the first 4 months of the season, simply because their previous gaffer didn't fancy him. Gary Bowyer came in and gave him a run of games. Scored 11 goals in 27 games from December onwards and played a big part in keeping them in the division. Pacey fox in the box type. Might be one worth looking at. Though he does have a couple of years left on his deal.

Exactly but even in international football there are levels and I’d guess Jamaica are way further up the rankings than Gibraltar.

Cole has been called up for a couple of Jamaica squads but hasn't got on the pitch yet.

No idea what his age has to do with owt but what I’ve seen is someone who is knocked over pretty easily despite having copied Mammadou with his backside, cheats and goes down/dives and is made of biscuit.

 

I just find it strange all the players who have had awful seasons mdg or any of the defence. But your focus is always on jalo, before that cole. Odd especially when cole was one of if not the best free transfers we've had in recent years.

 

Yes there were loads who had bad seasons ( nobody had a good one apart from DKD), but I do not rate Jalo and Cole well why we signed him again after a pretty awful loan spell is beyond me.

 

Cole was top scorer 2 seasons in a row he was a great free signing. If sam Cosgrove or max watters finished their career at Barnsley they wouldn't score as many goals cole did for us.

If think mdg is a accident waiting to happen I think he's physically weak but I don't bang on about him constantly. You really rate mdg don't you? And you predicted jalo to be non league in a few season, I'd dig the thread out but I can't be bothered.

MDG was the best defender till about Jan then he just became a liability.
