Tell you what, landed in Doha and my goodness what a sight it was worth the six n afe hour flight just to witness it. Absolutely stunning, had a aisle seat so no video or pics but by crikey, gobsmacked. Landed just before midnight, all lit up.
I have a **** load of BA points to use when I retire from credit cards and such over the years (for a few years I had to travel a lot for work and I always put the multi-thousand £ flights on my card and claimed it back which was like 10x the points or something). Guarantee knowing my luck by the time me and the mrs decide to retire BA will go bankrupt or something.
There top notch ,plied me with copious complimentary red wine. I'm sure that was to knock me out, keep me quiet
I'd get in there quick. BA are quickly taking a machete to how they've previously treated points-based customers.
Went to the F1 in Qatar a couple of years ago and flew with Qatar airlines, brilliant experience and really enjoyed the country, felt very safe and every where was very clean the metro is spotless and efficient and just over a quid to use all day.
Breaking headline….BA goes bankrupt due to BarnsleyReds pressing the wrong button when he was in the queue trying to claim his points!
