Join us in the Natural Cement Legends Suite for our May OAP Luncheon on Thursday 29 May.

With two sittings at 12pm and 3:30pm at the end of May, our OAP Luncheon will see a short break until August due to planned refurbishment works over the summer in our hospitality areas at Oakwell.

The event has been a great success for the Club, opening our doors on the final Thursday of every month for a two-course meal served at the home of the Reds for just £7.50 and bringing together our older Reds for a social afternoon.

Hosted by Barnsley FC legend and Club record-appearance holder, Barry Murphy, the event has seen special guests attend, including Allan Clarke; the man who led the Reds to promotion in 1979.

Tickets for the Luncheon can be purchased by calling our Box Office on 01226 211 183 or visiting the Box Office at Oakwell.

Can we do one for lonely younger people please bfc. Loneliness affects more under 40s than it does OAPs, it's a leading cause of suicide for under 40s. Can we do low cost meals for the young too please bfc? People in the lower age brackets are the worst off in society.
