Are you going the long way round or across the Fehrmann Belt. If the latter, I would suggest a stop off at Lubeck; a lovely place.
Ironically, I think part of the reason I didn't warm to Copenhagen especially was that a week or two before, we'd been to Lubeck (and Hamburg). And if marzipan is your thing, it's home of Niederegger.
