I think if you have a willy (including post op) you should use the men’s toilet and if you have a vagina the women’s toilet. And then gender neutral toilets anyone can use.

My feelings on it are that urinals speed up lines big time and men can get in and out, gender neutral toilets just take ages

 

Is it possible to pee standing up through a post-op willy? I thought they were generally for aesthetic purposes.

I feel like this is the inevitable conclusion of the BBS. It was set up all those years ago so someone would post a link to phalloplasty in a debate over whether a transgender post op female to male could have a piss while standing up. Took a long time but we eventually got there.

 

Anyone can pee standing up. It's the direction that it goes in that males have the advantage of ( supposedly!)

me neither mate, Red Helen comes across as very reasonable individual and as far as I can see has just expressed her concerns from a woman’s perspective which is fair enough as far as I can see but as usual in these cases some males can’t seem to let it go despite having no idea of how it works from a woman’s perspective.

Why is only the woman's perspective important? And by woman's I presume you mean the cis woman's perspective right? What is wrong with the transgender woman's perspective? Or the transgender man's perspective? Or the cis mans perspective? Why is only one section of society allowed to have an opinion or thoughts on something that affects all of us?

Is it more valid for a woman like Helen to not want a trans woman in the toilet block with her where she is in a locked cubicle then it is for me to not want a trans woman who is sexually attracted to men stood behind me while I've literally got my **** out at a urinal?

You say that she is a reasonable individual who has simply expressed her reasonable views yet her very first post in this thread was her refusing to accept the concept of transgender and cis gender and stating that her gender was "none of the above" because I had written cis woman. That isn't reasonable behaviour it's transphobia.


Is this person not feeling safe in an environment where a group of men literally have their cocks out in front of her less valid than Helen not wanting to be behind a locked door near that same person?

I never said Helens view was more important .
What what I meant was that Helen was entitled to give a woman's perspective and that blokes are then telling her she's wrong for the concerns she has, how do they know how women feel ( and lets face it 90% of the population know what that expression means without definition) and how do you know know what a trans gender woman's perspective is anyway?.
Surely there should be a way of getting this sorted with as minimal offence to any gender as possible.
IMHO folk can only contribute from their own personal experiences and worries, unless ( fair enough if so ) you are transgender I have no idea !

 

Bottom line for me is where you have a victim of rape being forced to refer to get assailant as she. And then that same rapist goes to a women's prison. Anyone defending this has not given one moments thought to a woman's perspective.

This all seems to be based around toilets, that really is a side issue. If you look at the poll there are very few women posting. And they may very well have a different view point to me. But there are al lot of biological men who seemingly refuse to accept what I feel as an actual biological woman. And I don't believe in the construct of gender ( in old fashioned terms I was always a bit of a tomboy ) which is as valid a belief as believing you have one. So yes, I'm not a cis woman.
