I’m there next Wednesday, I was thinking at parking at Ashton West park and ride and getting the Tramlink in, does that sound about right? Or is there better options…travelling from Barnsley of course.
I caught the tram from Ashton to the Etihad it was really easy but didn't know you are supposed to buy your ticket before you get on...free ride...result
We went in March but stayed in Manchester Centre. Straight out of arena & down to tram but as far as i remember they only went towards Manchester. They had them lined up so as soon as one was full it went and the other came to station
there's plenty of businesses that offer parking for £10 on Briscoe Lane opposite the cemetery, only a 5 minute walk from there, easy to get out at the end.
Was there back in January and will be there again in October. I’ve been to plenty of arenas before but from where I was, in the standing area, it looked like it went so high up. I used JustPark and booked on someone’s drive on Upper Lake Drive. Cost £12.50 and is about a 10/15 minute walk away. No traffic when leaving either.
The Trams on the way in along that line are fine, but I am not sure how frequently they run at the end of the gig, been a few times now to the Co-op and park about 20 mins away on a housing estate, great to get away at the end.....there next Wed, Sunday and the following Tuesday, behind the stage for Weds and really looking forward to a different view...enjoy...
Yeah we do that if we go to the Etihad. Just park behind the cinema and straight up the steps to the tram stop. No street parking around there now since the arena was built.
