My local team Guiseley have been reinstated to the NLP play off final just over a day before the game is played They played Stockton last week who fielded an ineligible player. Got to feel sorrry for their fans and it reminded me of the bizzare situation last year when we got kicked out of the FA cup. Someone has made a massive error at Stockton that makes the whole season a right off. At least ours was just a cup competition

They now play worksop in the final so going to take a drive down and watch them

Nice. I'm looking forward to going to a game with no pressure on my brain. I'd like guiseley to win but it's not a big deal if they don't. If they do then I will get caught up in the joy

I don't think it was an error at Stockton as much as a deliberate attempt to break the rules.

Their captain got sent off in the last match of the season and they started him in the play offs a few days later trying to use a loophole that they'd found to get round it.

Ah ok. I thought it was something to do with the amount of days after a sending off before thecsuspension kocks in being different in the play offs. Maybe that was the spin?

Non league rules state any ban for a sending off commences 7 days after the event, they tried claiming this was the case but the rules for play off games are different and any ban is invoked for the next match

guess the grey area was a league sending off into a play off match

Why the hell would anyone take such a risk, knowing it could destroy their entire season? Absolute nutcase decision.
