https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...orm-nhs-local-elections-starmer-b2742970.html and he also did an interview on the eve of the local elections with Sky and repeated that the NHS should not be funded through taxation. Strangely offered no alternative to how to fund it also
When. I've heard ducks fart affore. Incidentally under Conservative government a lot of the franchises were taken back under government control. Starmer couldn't lie straight in bed.
I’ve seen Barnsley hospital , it’s not a good place. I’ve not had a good experience with close family members in there, partly due to the untrained staff, partly due to it being absolutely rammed. I know someone who was really poorly, and they put him on the children’s ward!!
Yes fair point, however Reform are being criticised for policies and they’ve never been in government. That was my point
yea it’s shïte isn’t it that we are all poorer and you can’t send “the illegals” back anymore isn’t it. Strange times.
Speaking of juvenile nonsense......Reform's manifesto...... Personal and family taxes: Lift the income tax personal allowance to £20,000 per year and the higher rate threshold to £70,000. Abolish inheritance tax for all estates under £2 million. The rate above £2 million will be 20% tax, with the option to donate to charity instead. All frontline NHS and social care staff to pay zero basic rate tax for 3 years. Support marriage through the tax system by introducing 25% transferable marriage tax allowance. This would mean no tax on the first £25,000 of income for either spouse. Employer immigration tax: Employers’ National Insurance rate will be raised to 20% for foreign workers. Essential foreign health and care workers would be exempt from the tax, as would businesses that employ 5 staff members and under. Tax relief of 20% on all private healthcare and insurance, and independent education. Sounds cracking. Not a peep on how to pay for these fantasies tho. I'm just not quite ready to vote for them just yet, til hell freezes over anyway.
