So how are these very small.premiums actually going to fund an improved NHS?

Juat look at what's happened to vet bills once it became the norm to insure your pet.

Vet bills rose for other reasons, mainly a lack of regulation and a variety of corporate vet chains. That’s not a comparison with a policy regulated healthcare model.
The idea is to modernise it through a modest insurance-based system, which many countries successfully use. A small premium system can relieve pressure on your taxation and hopefully lead tofaster access, and better outcomes.

I'm actually glad to be governed by our crap Labour government rather than Brussels. Top and bottom of it.

Doesn't matter to me the colour of the rosette. As long as we're governed by those we elected.

I don't agree with diluting and devoluting power either but that's something else completely. I believe a party is voted in to govern. They do it for five years and if they're crap they're voted out by the electorate. Whether that's a "protest" or not I don't know. I wasn't born to vote Labour blindly because everyone else does. Maybe that makes me an idiot?

I don't want Reform because it's all bluster. That said, I don't want this Labour government either.

I'd vote Libdem again if they didn't want to rejoin Europe.

And you think the premiums will stay small once the door is opened?

Farage is the elite a millionaire stockbroker that laps up votes for racists idiots. Be more than amusing when the same racist idiots can’t afford medical insurance when they privatise the NHS. But aye. Idiots lap it up.

But Farage will give it to the Anerican insurance companies to carve up. If you honestly think it will be an improvement then I hope for your sake you stay healthy.

I'm.not sure I've seen where he says he wants to end the NHS. He might I just haven't seen it, haven't labour voters been saying that about Tories for the last 20 years?
Fact is reform are appealing to the working class, who are sick of been taxed to death, sick of 2k migrants a month coming and getting housed while people who have paid into the system get cuts, sick of the same old broken promises from Tories and labour. What can labour do to appeal to the working class or business owners/small business owners to get there vote because at the minute there failing miserably.

Sums up this board at times, instead of approaching a political debate with thought , it’s just juvenile nonsense repeating stuff they’ve seen on Twitter. And hypothetical situations, this Labour government are the ones in power and they’re abysmal!! Lies were told , sunak told you all what would happen and he was right.

That's what the press wish you to believe, so the already rich can carve it up like they did the water, the rail network, gas etc. I've used Barnsley hospital for myself recently, for the first time since having children and I can't fault it. Be very careful what you wish for.

So the six million who voted for them are also delusional? Or the thousands that have yesterday.
