    It's truly frightening whats going on. But it's not fascism, oh no. It's just the 'will of the people'... Just populism.

    I wonder when the penny will drop among certain quarters of electorates that their fear of the foreign has been played on to gain power for selfish people that only want to enrich their pocket and ego?

    What people fail to realise is that America cannot sustain a foreign war unless there is something in it for them, ultimately they lost Vietnam because voters didn't see the point in it. They only entered WW1 and 2 because they were directly attacked - remember German declared war on THEM in WW2, otherwise we'd still be waiting for them now. There is, and has never been, any altruistic motives to American military interventions or deployments anywhere especially in which Americans might die, ever.
