Leyton Orient and Reading are 6 and 7 with Reading 2 goals worse off.

Leyton Orient have to go to Huddersfield and it's been picked for Sky Sports Football. Reading are obviously at home to us.

Hope we win for ourselves, but I would have wanted Leyton Orient over Reading anyway.

My hope for the final game is Reading go for it knowing they need to win by as many goals as possible, leaving themselves open for us to pick them off. Can see a Leyton Orient away type result, with us inevitably on the wrong end even if we bag a few goals due to our defence and midfield that don't offer it any protection.

That said, if we lose, I hope Reading get in the top 6 so we retain a London away day in Orient, can see Charlton winning the play offs.

Feel sorry for Orient if they're expecting any favours off us. They need to win themselves at Hudds to have any chance.
After watching that woeful display last Saturday I fully expect Reading to give us a proper tonking.
Edit - there was also the pathetic capitulation at Orient.

Huddersfields results of late have been woeful (alongside ours)since and just b4 MLH was got shut of. Won 3 lost 11. Of the last 14. The results on Saturday are immaterial to me tbh. Just hope the players at least show up for those of us who are making the effort. We have 40 going to the game.

I agree, it would be great to at least go out on high, especially for the hardy souls travelling down.
Sadly, a lot of those players have shown little or no pride in the shirt and I really hope a few of them never wear it again after Saturday.

Our lot have probably got their holiday suitcases in the team bus, not so far to Gatwick or Heathrow.

Thanks for the reminder. I've just checked, and Paramount+ have decided to show our game (or more accurately, Readings game) this weekend. The big screen for a change, leaving the laptop free for emotional support from the BBS.

You're either admirably committed or an absolute masochist. It's going to be about 20 degrees and you're choosing to spend your afternoon watching us get hammered in a dead rubber game at the end of an abject season.

I'd rather **** in my hands and clap.

It's predicted to be 15C here in San Francisco on Saturday, plus a tad warmer on my sofa, so I'll be OK.

Worst scenario is the team gels, we win 4-0 and put on the performance of the season, and Connor and Mladen decide to stick with this team for another year....

Unfortunately rallying calls like that fall on deaf ears
There's not an ounce of pride left in most of them in my opinion
