    Sad news for any of you who were into The Alarm, lead singer Mike Peters has passed away. RIP

    Was due to see them at Lytham Festival in July when they were due to support Simple Minds and Texas.

    Such sad news' both Mike and his wife have fought this ba###rd of a disease for a long time' RIP Mike' the Alarm were a fantastic and vastly underrated band.

    Saw them in Cardiff in '85, it was rowdy.

    I saw Mike as a surprise mystery guest in the big top at the Greenbelt festival in the early '90's, Just him and his guitar, and he blasted out a load of Alarm tracks.
    The whole tent was rocking, there is better atmosphere in a tent when everyone is singing along than seeing the band on main stage in the open air the next year though still a great live band.
    Sad news and RIP
